This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you play Frontline Ops, create an account, use online multiplayer, and chat. We process personal data in accordance with the EU/EEA GDPR and applicable local laws.

What data we collect
- Account data: email address, username/screen name, hashed password (never the raw password), account ID, account status.
- Gameplay & online services: match history, session IDs, party/friend lists, in-game items/currency, progress, timestamps, region, latency/ping, server choice.
- Chat & UGC: messages you send in chats or lobbies, reports you submit, and moderation actions (for safety and compliance).
- Purchases & billing: purchase history, product IDs, prices, currency, timestamps, and non-card identifiers from the platform store (e.g., Google Play). We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Device & technical data: IP address, device identifiers, OS and version, app version, language, crash logs, performance metrics.
- Analytics: aggregated engagement and feature usage via Unity Analytics (see “Analytics & cookies”).
- Support: messages you send to support (email content, attachments, metadata).
Why we use your data (legal bases)
- Provide the game & services (contract): account creation/login, multiplayer, chat, save/progress sync, entitlement checks.
- Process purchases (contract & legal obligation): verify and deliver in-game items via platform stores (e.g., Google Play Billing).
- Safety & moderation (legitimate interests & legal obligations): prevent abuse/cheating, enforce Code of Conduct, investigate reports.
- Analytics & improvements (legitimate interests/consent where required): understand performance and feature usage to improve stability and balance.
- Compliance (legal obligation): tax, accounting, fraud prevention, age-related restrictions.
- Communications (contract/consent): service emails (account, purchases, security). Marketing only with your explicit consent, and you can opt out anytime.
Where your data comes from
- You: account registration, gameplay, chat, support tickets.
- Your device: telemetry, logs, crash reports, device settings.
- Platform stores: purchase confirmations, entitlements (e.g., Google Play).
- Service providers: analytics (Unity), hosting, anti-fraud tools.
Sharing your data
We share data only as needed to run the game, comply with law, or protect users:
- Unity Analytics (Unity Technologies): usage and performance data for analytics (pseudonymous/aggregated where possible).
- Platform stores (e.g., Google Play): to process transactions, verify entitlements, handle refunds/chargebacks.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers: to run servers, matchmaking, databases, and content delivery.
- Moderation & safety tools: to detect abuse and enforce rules (only if/when used).
- Law enforcement/regulators: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may transfer under equivalent protections.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
If data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) and technical measures to protect it.
Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion for security, fraud prevention, and legal purposes (unless law requires longer).
- Chat & moderation logs: typically 12–24 months depending on severity and legal needs.
- Purchases: retained as required by tax/accounting laws (commonly 7 years in the EU/Netherlands).
- Analytics & logs: aggregated after 12 months where possible; raw logs rotated regularly.
Analytics & cookies
We use Unity Analytics to understand feature usage, performance, crashes, and to improve gameplay. Unity may collect device identifiers, app version, session events, and aggregated usage metrics. Where required, we ask for consent before enabling analytics. Some platforms may also use platform-level identifiers or cookies/local storage.
You can manage analytics and tracking through in-game settings (if available), your device privacy settings, and applicable platform settings (e.g., Google Play Services).
Chat & community safety
Online features include chat. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal data in chat. We may automatically or manually moderate chat to enforce the Code of Conduct, prevent harassment, cheating, spam, and illegal content. Violations can lead to warnings, mutes, or bans.
Children
The game is not intended for children under the minimum digital consent age in your country. If we learn a child has provided personal data without verifiable parental consent (where required), we will delete the account and data as appropriate. Your rights (EEA/UK)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing (including direct marketing). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Access/Export: request a copy of your data.
- Rectify: fix inaccurate info (e.g., change email/screen name).
- Delete: request account deletion (this may remove access to purchased in-game items).
- Object/Restrict: object to or limit certain processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Complaint: contact your local data protection authority if you believe your rights were violated.

Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, access controls, backups). No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
Data deletion & account closure
You can request deletion by emailing support@frontlineops.xyz from your account email. After deletion, we may retain limited data as required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our game or legal requirements. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Significant changes may be communicated in-app or by email.
